I don’t know about you guys, but as a college student, productivity and bettering myself as a student are a few themes always running through my mind. For those of you who aren’t in college, I’ll be totally honest with you guys — it’s kind of hard. Alright, maybe a little more than kind of, which is why I’m so glad to be part of the blogging community. There are a ton of articles and resources online that make university life a whole lot better, and there’s one that I have been going NUTS over.
Tori over at Chase The Write Dream has put together a fabulous workbook called The Successful College Student Workbook, which is a 20-page digital file stocked full of worksheets, lessons, and advice on how to become a more successful and thriving college student. The workbook goes over keeping a positive mindset, getting a good hold over your grades, and even study tactics to help you achieve all your goals as a student.
WHAT ARE MY FIRST IMPRESSIONS?
After I originally received the workbook, I spent pretty much the whole first afternoon going through it and identifying my routines and what I could do to improve them, as well as shifting my strategies academically to make my studying time more productive… I haven’t even finished the workbook yet! I’ve been sure to go slow, so that I can really take in as much from the lessons and advice as I can, but I can already see what a huge difference it’s made for me personally.
HOW HAS IT HELPED ME GROW AS A STUDENT?
My mornings have usually been filled with waking up 30 minutes before I have to be out the door, barely getting time to chomp on some yogurt and granola as I run out the door. With the tips found in this workbook, I’ve really tried to wake up earlier (and go to bed earlier, getting enough sleep is important) in order to start my day on a more positive and much less stressed note. I’ve already begun to notice this past week that I’ve felt more energized and motivated in the mornings now that I’m applying the ideas of what I truly need to get done in the morning, and what I can cut out and shift to make more time for it.
All in all, Tori’s workbook has been absolutely amazing, and it’s a total steal at $9.00 on her online store. If you’re interested in finding out what it takes to be a successful college student, this workbook is the perfect move for you. Check it out here!
